I once again emailed SPEED to complain about his racist comments in his latest column.

This is the reply I got from Speed:

From: Mark Mitchell

As of today April 1, 2003 Mr Yates will no longer be writing for
Speedtv.com.

Yates' column. It is unfortunate that SPEED still allows Brock to present
his racial viewpoint to the general public. I don't remember taking the
'frog' language in elementary and high school, as we called it French.

with him there.

Please please please don't let this be an April Fool's joke.

Maybe it is just a cost-cutting measure. They could probably just rerun all his old columns for another two years before anyone actually notices.

I'm thinking about Brock Yates as Milton from Office Space, clutching a piston instead of a red stapler... muttering under his breath...

I'm thinking about Yates as just one of those Tony George sycophants that no one really pays any attention to.

I like Yates, I've read him since I was in highschool.

Now days I think of him as an onry old coot who likes to crack a beer before noon and lean on the bar aggravating people all day.

Oh wait, maybe that's me I'm thinking about.
