Now that's funny right there! I remember the day my family and I arrived from a little country town (pop 250) to Big Sydney Town. So many people in Oxford Street. Some stood out in the crowd. I was thinking about the "tells" that make it relatively easy to tell human males and females apart whereas with parrots both sexes are virtually identical from the outside. Parrot breeders normally use laparoscopic surgery to look for ovaries or testes to verify gender for breeding. Anyway, an avian vet I know who does this surgical sexing learned over time to identify the sexes visually by subtle differences in the head shape, and I just flashed on how much more difficult that is, spaced out, and actually typed it into the post.... duh. :gomer:

I did part time work at a poultry farm a friends family owned and they employed a man as a chicken sexer so it didn't seem strange to me about sexing parrots ,which may be strange in it self that I didn't. :laugh:

how come so many of the womenfolk got better results than us?? Men do a cursory glance at boobs, hair, bum, legs. Women look more carefully at less obvious features. The chances of women getting fooled by a woman dressing up as a man are much less.
