So that is what, 31 drivers officially announced for Long Beach.
All they need is two more, 33 is just a number right?
Mexican racer David Martinez and the US RaceTronics team hope the momentum they built at the end of the 2005 Atlantic season carries over to the Yokohama Presents the Champ Car Atlantic Championship Powered by Mazda in 2006.
Competing with the first-year team last season, Martinez emerged as one of the top rookies in the Atlantic field, posting five podium results to claim fifth in the final series standings. The talented 24-year-old racer from Monterrey, Mexico returns to the US RaceTronics squad this season looking to build on his success from '05. Martinez will race in the #4 entry for the California-based team.
