"Both sides said a race could be held again at the two-mile oval in Fontana, but Griffin said the IRL is leaning more toward a street race in L.A. "
Too funny
Has the San Antonio race actually been announced?

With I*L teams expressing a bolt from the series in 07 if there is not a merger, there is just enough bodies to play baseball. It’s One Two Three strikes you’re out at the old race game.
Helio Castroneves (first Base)
Sam Hornish (Pitcher)
Kosuke Matsuura (Pitcher)
Scott Sharp (Second Base)
Felipe Giaffone (Left Field)
Vitor Meira (Short Stop)
Tomas Scheckter (Third Base)
Eddie Cheever (Center Field)
P.J. Chesson (Catcher)
Ed Carpenter (Right Field)
Head Coach Tony George

They'll try and keep it under 100 laps. :gomer:

If you could pick up some of the lawn debris while you're down there that'd be great.

Theres a ton of homeless here in Cleveland ready to pick up trash for beer.
Heck, they do it after every Browns game. They empty the trash cans, leave the trash on the ground and take all the cans to recycle. Then someone has to come and pick up all the trash.

For anyone who has been to Chavez Ravine in the past 20 years, realizes that there has been little, if anything, done to the exterior of the stadium, due to squeezing the maximum profits out of the goose that laid the golden (O'Malley) egg from many years ago. There are three ways in, only 1-2 ways out, and the current asphalt has tire marks from Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale and Maury Wills on it... not to mention skid marks from Steve Garvey, as he was chasing down 19 yr old chicks in the parking lot, on his way back to his place on Sunset Blvd...
I say bring on the EARL, it'll be a nice "throwback" to the glory days of Dodger teams from the late 70's \ early 80's.... which is equal to the current safety record of the EARL.

Steve Garvey, earl of finance! (http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-me-garvey9apr09,0,5467228,full.story?coll=la-home-headlines)
Former Dodger Great Facing a Mound of Debt
Financial chaos has plagued Steve Garvey for years. As his money problems deepened, he continued to burnish his `Mr. Clean' image.
Maybe he will hire Gene Simmons as an image consultant, and not pay! :gomer:
