OK, bare with me here, but as a guitar player for 20 some years (12 years professionally, meaning, yes, I made my living from playing the guitar) I was intrigued by the uke player and I have my suspicions as to it's authenticity.

The first few times I watched it I was blown away. The fingering was realistic and the unfamiliar scales I chalked up to being a uke four string thing. Then I noticed the first thing that made me go "hmmm". A repeated phrase where his fingering was completely and utterly different than the first time. I started to focus in on the repeated phrases and noticed distinct difference from one another. Small differences albeit but different none the less.

I also hear a distinct difference in the audio quality at the beginning when he is speaking to when the playing starts. The uke sounds like it was recorded in a studio, not by a cam-corder on a rock in some park.

I'm not saying that guy didn't play it, but I have my suspicions that the audio was from the same time as the video.
