View Full Version : Milwaukee test Tues 4/25
From CCWS site (http://www.champcarworldseries.com/News/Article.asp?ID=10137)
I remember RHR_FAN was asking about a test at the Mile. It doesn't say the 25th, but it was released today (4/24) and states Tues. No times or schedule in the article though.

So far I haven't heard anything about it being open to the public or an autograph session. I wouldn't be able to go tomorrow anyways. Now if it was next week, that'd be a different story.

I heard from someone on campus that the test is next week.

Really? Maybe this is just a separate one for rookies then? But why have it a week apart? I'm just babbling so I'll stop now.

Well if you hear anymore, keep us posted. Might be fun to take a little day trip. :)

Some teams were there to test today, but it was too cold, so they are leaving. (this is all second hand info)
The "real" open test is Fri. June 2nd effectively making it a 3 day oval weekend. I would imagine ALL teams will participate and I'll worm my way in somehow. It might just be open to all anyway. :)
I guess they will try again today. According to ChampCar's site (http://www.champcarworldseries.com/News/Article.asp?ID=10142). It is rookies only minus Katherine as she is off to Euorpoe to test a power boat with Jeemy.

I saw that the other day. Maybe a few emails/phone calls to the Mile and CCWS might change their mind.
