And 'dinger next to PT, it will be real interesting going into that first curve. The inside line is the preferred "smooth" line, outside is bumpy and the cars get "upset"!!

Didn't see the lap but with a margin like that my guess is he used an "unpreferred" line as a gamble and it paid off. Bet he doesn't use it often in the race.

Mario was taking the inside line through the turn 1 kink. He was by far getting closest to the inside wall than anyone.

Is the timing stand not at the S/F line?
