View Full Version : The Flying Aston!
Anyone know if a still shot exists of the GT-1 Aston Martin at Mid-Ohio flying 142ft. backward, to a thankfully soft trap landing? Good thing he ended up going STRAIGHT backward. So at that speed and weight how high did he get if he traveled that far!? :gomer:

Ahhhh
Looks like "China Beach" (Turn 7/8 runoff, drivers left)
Yeah, same place Mikey rolled, and rolled....and rolled. The China "Beach" is way better than the Great Wall OF that used to be there. Talk about a stupid way to stop an errant car! Who was that French guy in the little Renault many years ago? So sad.

Shhh...don't let it get around.
I can only give 'em an 8.0...they landed backwards. :gomer:

depends on whether he was doing a Lutz, Axle, or Toe Loop. Proper landing for some of them is backwards. :D

And the marks for the Aston vault are... 8,8,7,9,8,7,8, and a 4 from the French judge. This just might be the vault to beat this season. Back to you in the booth Bob...
