I wish you could see the picture of his new I500 tatoo that was in the print version. It looks like middle school goth artwork.

Slow news week in NJ? I thought y'all would be engrossed with stories about Brokeback Govenor. ;)
Danica Patrick was the story last year, when she became the highest qualifying female driver in Indy history, but Chesson is the new sensation.
Dude is starting in the 7th row for chrissakes! :shakehead
I think this is the tat that was mentioned:

Mcgreevey did a booksigning this weekend in DC but no one cares about him except for the financial mess he and to two precious governors have put the state in.
Corzine is in China trying to boost local pharma companies while his crew is trying to figure out how to pay all the state's bills.
And the Yanks are in a freefall waiting for the next injury or pitcher to collapse
That's about it.
Great Tat huh?
Nickleback is to music as IRL is to racing.

classic.
some bands have ugly lead singers but they can sing.
some bands have good looking lead singers who can't sing.
Nickelback can do it all.

I don't think it is a good idea to let you buddies do your tatooing
Yo, it gets even better then that!
Go to www.indystar.com and click on PJ's picture in the top left of the page. This is the funniest thing I've ever seen an Indy 500 driver do.
About 5-6 years ago, I wrote a thread on seventhgear on how racing (CART) needed some driver with some spice to attract younger audiences. I made reference to Mike Metger from Freestyle Motocross. Some of you thought I was nuts. Now, we have PJ in that Indy 500….. :D The guy is nuts!
I didn't mean that crazy BTW when I wrote that deal, just a little bit wilder and edgier then Robby Gordon or Tony Stewart.
manic mechanic

OMG, I went to the indystar.com site above. Didn't see PJ's picture. But they have a link on the home page "Daily Danica". You have got to be kidding!
No, this is all too real. Over coffee after the workout this morning (I drink Gotorade :) ) one of the guys in the group knowing of my interest in racing asked me about "That PJ Chesson guy" and what his chances were in the race. I asked, "What race?", trying to feign ignorance and he proceeded to tell me all about the guy! Tatoos, race history, age...then shows me a half page article with large color picture (tatoo) in the morning paper. Great. Is THIS what Mario meant all those years ago when he said CART needed to emphasize the drivers more and help create stars? :shakehead
