Was there an official I500 Pace Car this year?

Usually I see a bunch of I500 pace cars around May-time in Indy. It just struck me that I haven't seen a one all month. What kind of car was the pace car? Anyone know?

my friend got a vette, and yes it was an 06. but he told me they were very limited, most people got to use last years el camino or whatever the **** that overpriced POS was.

he said he resigned the committe after this year, and he loses the car too.
