something to keep an eye on, but 30 and 40% isn't definite.
Steve
Because I am heading to Long Beach from the frigid mid west for the race, I have keeping an eye on the long range forecast. It has shown Sunday being anywhere from the low 50's to the upper 70's, with rain thrown in for good measure. Not going to worry until I get there...:D
A little moisture always makes a race more exciting.
Keep your fingers crossed and you may be in for a treat.

Is anyone else scared to death thinking about some of these guys racing on a wet track? Whats the lowest number of cars ever to finish a Champ Car race?

Not sure but it may have been at MIS the year all the engines were blowing. Moreno in a Coyne car came in third might have been 95 or 96, I'm not sure but that would be my guess....I'm certain someone knows the right answer.
Were'nt there just six finishers in the Hanford engine popper at Fontana at the end of 2000?
There were some Michigan 500s with 6 finishers. Rutherford won one, beating Garza if I remember correctly.
