View Full Version : Remember The Texas Tour?
Promoter Holly Hills says ChampCar is their choice and they are "ready to go right now" for '07 in San Antonio. The big question is, are CC and the IRL working together or as adversaries on this one? The big problem is political wrangling that wants to now open the promotional bidding rights to others. No deal says Holly Hills, nobody can beat us and we won't wait for '08. Hmmmm. I wonder how many NASCAB lobbyists are in Texas this weekend? WOAI-TV, San Antonio.
do you live in SA or are you gleaning this from somewhere else?

Assistant to the City Manager Roland Lozano is throwing up a caution flag. He says the city has to open up racing to other companies so the city can pick the best offer. That process could push the Grand Prix back to 2008.
uh, how about you just let whoever wants to race, race, it's not like the city is overflowing with corporate commerce and downtown residential life that would be disrupted...
