Ryan Succop sucks.
No kidding.
However, there is a problem upfront when you get two of them blocked.
Texas is in a ballgame right now.
we're so ****ed. everyone's so injured at this point, both safeties with sprained ankle, one corner with a broken toe another with sprained wrist. no depth so their backups are true freshmen. fastest LB out w/ ankle, other LB banged up. best DT broke his leg, RG's ACL gone.
now Colt...  :irked:
Colt's out per austin radio...
:(

Michael Griffin sucks at life.
that blalock injury is killing us, he hasn't given up a sack all year, his replacement has let by the DT or LB multiple times since he left...

wow. losing to ksucks since before halftime.
what happened to colt? my fsu/wake game just switched over?
simulating offensive cadence?
now and interception. wtf is going on here.
1st drive of game, 4/4 51 yards, stuffed on the 1 1st through 3rd down even though 1st down was a TD not ruled as such... then qb sneak on 4th, LB helmet to helmet w/ colt, neck stinger, out for game but scored the TD
then 2 fumbles & blocked punt in 5 min span, KSU trick plays pwn3d us, 21 up to 41-21...
Jevan's a stud qb, parade AA, watched him out-duel Matt Stafford in 4A playoffs last year, but he's not a coach's son, and he's not a redshirt FR, like Colt is. Colt is ****ing clutch, Jevan has an arm cannon, but no touch.

Well, If SCAR had a field goal unit this weekend would of put the NC game in USC's lap. I think the road to glendale is in our hands now. If we continue to play like we did tonight i like our chances, or we will just go there and lose, I would be happy with just getting there
I think we we set the record for the longest and most bizzare replay debacle.
It was a good play by Oregon and saw it immediatly, they should of just gave it to them.

Q: What's the difference between a Michigan fan and a carp?
A: One is a bottom-feeding, scum sucker, and the other is a fish.
Q: Why don't Michigan fans let their kids play in sand boxes?
A: Because cats keep covering them up.
Q: Why do Michigan fans keep their diplomas on their dashboards?
A: So they can park in handicap spaces.
Q: What do you call a good looking girl on the University of Michigan campus?
A: A visitor.
Q: What should you do if you find three Michigan fans buried up to their neck in cement?
A: Get more cement.
Q: What do you get when you cross a Michigan fan and a pig?
A: Nothing. There's some things that a pig will not do.
Q: Did you hear about the University of Michigan fan who locked his keys in his car?
A: He couldn't get his family out.
Q: Did you hear about the fire in University of Michigan's football dorm that destroyed 20 books?
A: The real tragedy was that 15 hadn't been colored yet.
Q: How many University of Michigan freshmen does it take to change a light bulb?
A: None, it's a sophomore course.
A teacher starts a new job in West Lafeyette, Indiana. To make a good impression, she says that she's a Purdue fan. She asks the class if they're fans too. All raise their hands but 1 little girl. The teacher asks her why she didn't raise her hand. "Because I'm a Buckeye fan, and proud of it," the girl replied.
The teacher asks, "Why are you a Buckeye fan?"
"Because my Mom & Dad are Buckeye fans, so I'm a Buckeye fan too!"
"Well," said the teacher, "that's not a reason for you to be a Buckeye fan. You don't have to be just like your parents all of the time. What if your Mom was a prostitute and your Dad was a drug addict, car thief, and wrote bad checks, what would you be then?"
The girl said, "I'd be a Michigan fan."
Four college alumni were climbing a mountain one day: an Ohio State grad, a Michigan grad, a Penn State grad, and a Notre Dame grad. Each proclaimed to be the most loyal of all fans at their alma mater. As they climbed higher, they argued as to which one of them was the most loyal of all. They continued to argue all the way up the mountain, and finally as they reached the top, the Notre Dame grad hurled himself off the mountain, shouting "This is for the Fighting Irish!" as he fell to his doom. Not wanting to be out done, the Penn State grad threw himself off the mountain proclaiming, "This is for the Nittany Lions!" Seeing this the OSU grad walked over and shouted "This is for the Buckeyes!" and pushed the Wolverine off the side of the mountain.

Good website since TBS just announced they wont televise PAc-10 games next year
TBS announced that a while ago, they're not renewing either of their CFB contracts. Which is a shame b/c their production quality & booth crew is a whole tier above ABC & FSN.
Their final game with Texas was great, with Phillips sponsoring the entire broadcast, just had to put up with a 3-4 minute infomercial on their MRI machines & sports medicine involvement once a quarter, the rest was uninterrupted, they even showed most of our halftime show that game.
Will definitely miss TBS. Funny how with such a smaller budget they were able to outdo fox & abc combined...

Less money probably helps. Less gizmos and graphics to distract. Keep the focus on the game.
So I think I have this all worked out. Six things need to happen to put Rutgers in Glendale
1. Rutgers has to win all their game. Not crazy
2. USC has to lose either to Cal or UCLA. Also not impossible
3. USC has to beat ND. Likely
4. FL loses in SEC title game. Even money.
5. Michigan beat OSU, and beats them by a touchdown or two. That means OSU will have beaten only on ranked team. Possible.
6. LSU beats Ark giving them two losses. I could see that.
This is getting really stupid. I want a playoff.

Andy, I'm with ya until #5. I get the ranked team argument, BUTTT don't you think voters would drop "The School up North" a little more if they lose than they would Ohio State if they lose? After all, after the Texas game, OSU has been consensus #1. Some (mind you, "some") haven't totally bought in to UM, so methinks they'd drop further than OSU.
But yes, this could get really absurd. Sadly, coolhand may have a point. ND might get a shot, even though THEY DO NOT DESERVE IT! I know, can't deny the greatness of Jesus Weis, blah, blah...:gomer:

But yes, this could get really absurd. Sadly, coolhand may have a point. ND might get a shot, even though THEY DO NOT DESERVE IT! I know, can't deny the greatness of Jesus Weis, blah, blah...:gomer:
The important thing is that OSU/UofM can't be a close game. I could see the argument going either way (better for O to win than M), but conventional wisdom says M played the tougher schedule so they would drop less. Gotta move four teams down five spots so go with the odds.
Given the spanking Michigan issued to Notre Dame, the most the loser should drop is to between USC and Notre Dame (unless Michigan takes OSU behind the woodshed - in which case OSU could drop further)
Also keep in mind that Michigan and OSU are both done for the season after The Game. Even if the loser isn't at #2 after the game, they'll have a very good shot at climbing a few spots as everyone else plays out their schedules.
Florida isn't nearly good enough to be #2 - especially in the computer rankings. Who else can make a credible claim for #2? The only one I see is USC. If Notre Dame beats USC, The Loser of OSU/Michigan has a very, very good case to make for a #2 ranking.
Of course, a Michigan/OSU national title would be such a big deal that there's no way the pollsters would ever let it happen.
There should never be a title rematch from a game that late in the season. UF/FSU was a joke, especially since FSU had the flu (much like Nebraska Big XII CCG 96).
annointing this as a title game is a bit of a joke since tOSU doesn't even play 1-loss Wisky this year. not to say that tOSU would lose, but the point is that tOSU has yet to play either of the top Big 10 teams this season, their signature win is over a Texas team that had a freshman qb starting his 2nd ever game. need to have the schedule play out and then look at things from there...
that said though, with Cal & Auburn dropping games, the rematch is possible. If UF, USC, or Arky can remain unscathed they deserve a shot, despite USC's squeakers & UF's lake of offense & Arky bringing back the single wing offense . USC's drubbing of Arky was Mitch Mustain's first game action off the bench as an 18 year old true freshman & McFadden still wasn't healed from his foot injury. Arky's come a long way since then, the win at Jordan Hare is huge and if they pull off a win at Death Valley against the best team in the SEC right now, you can't take that away from them. ND doesn't deserve a 2nd shot at Michigan b/c it's not like the team has been re-tooled since ala Arky.
But if all of them stumble hardcore or look really bad, and IF RU can beat WV, I think RU deserves the shot. Crappy sched, yes. But they did beat 2 pretty stacked offenses at that point and they will have successfully run the table. If I thought WVU or L-ville qualified for the title game w/ a perfect season, I have to feel the same way towards RU despite their OOC...
Longman: you Johnny Come Lately's need to rack up a few winning seasons & bowl wins before you start bitching about the bowl system :p :gomer: Also, it'd help if in those 5 out of conference game slots you schedule a non-bottom feeder BCS program. UNC & Illinois aren't exactly feathers in the hat. Just 1 legit win over an 8 or 9 win quality program would be enough in pollster's minds

For once, I can say that I couldn't agree with you more. I guess after UT is beaten and taken out of the race for the NC, you become a more normal fan.
suck on it :gomer:
I never agreed with supporting a UT/tOSU rematch, same goes for FSU's '93 title over the domers. Rematches just shouldn't happen period, and unless there's special circumstances reg season matchups should serve tie-breaker in the rankings ala Auburn v. UF & SEC vs. Pac 10
But the fact remains, UT was solid #3 in the polls and the computers were going to play out in UT's favor if the SEC had won out (UF, Arky, Auburn). but *shrug* it's all moot now..
