Drivers have not been selected, but two of AGR's drivers -- Dario Franchitti and Bryan Herta -- are considering a move to ALMS.
"They'd be naturals," AGR co-owner Kevin Savoree said Saturday at Nashville Superspeedway. "They're both great drivers with great (personalities), and they're both key parts of the Honda family."
Translation: you're not EARLing next year, we're down to 2 cars.

Robin Miller's pimping the idea of a Mikey/Marco/Alsoranica team-up at Sebring. :gomer:
"Bobby Rahal had also submitted a bid but did not get rewarded with a team."

Article claims still four cars for AGR next year. Hard to believe that Honda will maintain that level of funding unless it's coming at someone else's expense. Of course saying you'll have four cars and putting four on the grid are two different things.

Kanaan would be pissed. Facing the grater every week with a majority of guys you trust is bad enough.
When it becomes a total wankerfest like in "the dentist era" again, it'll be like clubbing seals in a minefield.
And Duncan Dayton's Highcroft Racing as a 3rd Honda team? Interesting. Rahal seems to have dropped from favor...further. Maybe he'll enjoy Europe.

Latest rumors have Rahal looking down the Porsche P2 and/or Aston-Martin paths. As always w/ Rahal rumors, believe it only when you see it, and even then maybe not 'til you've seen it 3 or 4 times.

Ah yes, the scion of Klein Tools. Another unimpressive kid with a bunch of money. The IRL: Home to ride-buying mediocre road racers since 1996 :gomer:

He's been spectacularly mid-pack in the IPS (7th in the points right now...) but I'm not sure whether that says more about him or the series.

No Cicale or illegal wings like Marco had. I'm sure they've got fresh Nissan's every race though.
