Good for him, he deserves the win, unlike some racing series at least F1 corrected an apparent mistake. Too bad he didn't get the joy of the top step basking in the joy of a lifetime goal.

Is this the first time F1 has changed a result when Ferrari got no benefit?

Good for Fisi!

Long overdue and a much deserved first victory for Fisichella. He's come close a couple of times before and it's unfortunate that he had to wait five days for his victory to become official.

This will give Fisi an incredible boost of confidence and should help the survival of Jordan for the time being. Perhaps a new sponsor or two could leap on now that they have a GP win in the bag.

There will be a special podium ceremony at Imola in which Kimi and Fisi will exchange trophies. Followed, if I know EJ, by the biggest party Italy has ever known.

Now, when will Michael Schumacher give Damon Hill the trophy he won after Michael was disqualified for an illegal car -- in Spa, wasn't it? -- and Rubens the trophy he won in Austria?

Nah. That will never happen. ;)

Well, taking two points from Kimi and giving them to Fischechella could be construed as benefitting Ferrari. ;)
