Ya beat me to it. The hairline in the pic looks more like Barnhart's hairline. Too hard to make out much in the way of facial features.

Hey, I've got no issues with not being invited myself ... I'm low guy on the totem pole. No sense in denying that. But, it's absolutely stupid to unveil a new racecar and have your technical committee have to practically fistfight the president to get invited to the party.

If you zoom in and trace around the subject using adobe photoshop, the ears stick to the cut tool as they would with a person with non attached ear lobes.

Hmm, if that were Champ Car Prez Steve Johnson, his earlobes would be attached, as Mr. Johnson is one of the rare(like myself) to have attached ears at the bottom.

That is brainfarts silhouette, and head shape also. with the same glisten like a thanksgiving turkey. barnhardt is also known for his cellphone clip on the front, and also is wearing grey pants. cover up? perhaps.

one thing is interesting in the gomer logic. . . . one would think the champ car prez would want to be near the media, drivers, and teams. and so there he is, at the bottom right, wearing the same white shirt with grey slacks. hardly a coincidence.

brainfart was there, always trust the earlobes. if it was not him, i'd be very surprised. it would be someone exactly the same as him, with similar interests near the door.

its not as if the EARL was doing anything yesterday or saturday. there were NO on track activities scheduled and all 1000 staff and crew were treated to another blank grandstand. hardly anyone to impress or chat with in brooklyn.

I thought that the Atlantic Launch webcast was far superior to the DP01 Launch webcast. The production crew could have done a lot more (more driver interviews and reaction to the chassis etc.). And who selected the entertainment for the party? It was bizarre!

Ok, after carefully examining this pic of CCWS President Steve Johnson with Bronte and Alex Tagliani I've come to the conclusion that we need more pictures of Bronte.

Seriously, as much as I like seeing the gomers squirm, it could be. Same color shirt, same color lanyard. I don't see him anywhere else in that wide shot. In the tight shot, the features, head shape, hair color, and hairline look more like Barnhart. But I can't tell anything about his ears.

They've got the unveiling up on the CCWS site now. The best part is that it's unabridged and in streaming format. So you can't easily skip the 5 minutes of bad DJ music at the start, the Mystic Pixies, the sword swallower, or the Opera chick. So you get to suffer every ounce of pain endured by the original internet audience.
