There's a detour on Highway 23 in Princeton. If you follow the official detour signs it will add 50 miles to your trip. Instead you can just ignore the signs and drive through Princeton. At Fulton St. make a decision: Turn right and drive through the construction, or turn left and follow Hwy J to 49, then south on 49 back to 23. There's other routes but that's the easiest to follow.
