Oh Jeez Aussies, I'm so so Sad. If ever there was a true gentleman of the Motorsport World. I'm a Ford fan, always have been and have taken plenty of stick when the Holden boys cleaned up but if there was one guy I REALLY admired it was Peter, no matter what car he was in.
He will be really missed by this Kiwifan.
Russell.

Wow, this one is going to cause some confusion, as the car in which the Australian Peter Brock was killed was primarily designed by the American Peter Brock.
Here's the car:

I think it's an updated, newly built version from Superperformance. Technically a "Brock Coupe" (for the designer, not the driver).

Peter Perfect giving it all in an A9X Torana just like he won Bathurst by 6 laps in, against a 2004 V8 Supercar. youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXKvIKVvP1Y) One amazing car.

Thanks. I think there are only 7 of the originals, so it being a replica reduces the tragedy by about one hundredth of a percent.

It would be too ironic that the main Holden (GM) driver would die in the greatest Ford ever built....BTW, I just saw a real one last weekend at Miller Motorsport Park. They are stunning. It was the only car I took a picture of with my cel-phone.
