the job of th other driver for rusport is to help with set ups for justin, they want a driver with experience with the tech side, thats why they got shorty for his experience in developing cars, the next drivers job will be like a F1 2nd driver to help the #1 driver with tires and setup , this is built now for justin to try to win championships for better or worse, the route they are taking is similar to the f1 side of a clear #1 and #2 driver, and the job of the 2nd is mailnly help justin, and they will take what ever results the 2nd driver gets, tha's probably why they are loking at briscoe due to he past test driving experience he has, like it or not that's the direction i see them taking

Brisco for Oz is understandable, this Sunday is the Bathurst 1000 and Brisco is driving the second Holden Race Team car.The PR value for CC would make it worthwhile.
