I have never seen anything like this....
A brawl broke out during Sunday's running of the Glass City 200 at Toledo Speedway.
After Michael Simko felt Don St. Denis wrecked him, Simko went after him. Simko drop-kicked into St. Denis' windshield, collapsing it. Simko's legs landed into the driver's side and then jumped out onto the pavement.
Simko then threw his helmet at the car and takes out his aggression at St. Denis' vehicle. He then grabbed at the netting on the window, trying to pull out St. Denis.
Simko was finally restrained by race officials, but St. Denis got out of his vehicle and charged full steam at Simko.

That windscreen doesn't provide much protection does it. I guess they have more of a Saran Wrap than Lexan budget.

And in 20 years, this will be the most popular form of racing in the country...

I assume Michael is related to David & Patty Simko?
Much to my dismay, this identically edited clip got more airplay on my local news affiliates than Tracy vs. Tagliani, Tracy vs. Bourdais and Kat @ RA combined (translation = zero). No identification of the people, race, series, etc. involved either. Then the local yokel on the NBC affiliate summed it up by saying, "that's what happens when you get into a fender bender at 200 miles an hour." :gomer:
Man, talk about a FaFu!
Damn copycats. Champ Car = the new WWE. :gomer: ;) :(

The truly hilarious thing is that people who don't follow racing have made the effort to find arcaracing.com (not exactly top notch when it comes to ""major" sanctioning body websites, esp. given that most of the series' races don't even get TV coverage, period), post negative messages on the board there and state that they will now remain non-fans.
Why don't people like this speak up likewise whenever something like this happens in NASCAR?

If you ever see him stopped at a light, you should try to jump up onto his windshield.

That made me chuckle.
