If you are right, you move on to the next week.
If you are wrong, you are eliminated.

The winner is the last man or woman standing.
How to enter:
Submit your entry by posting in this thread.
Your pick must be in before the start time for the first game of the week. (1:00 PM ET, Sun 10/15 for Week 6)

From today's Houston Chronicle, one writer admits it:
More attention than W's
There's one big difference. Thanks to Owens, the Cowboys have gotten more newspaper, television and magazine coverage than any other NFL team. By miles. They're the team that's talked about on Sunday mornings. They're the team the guy at the water cooler won't shut up about.
Thanks to T.O., they've gained in visibility, and most likely, value. T.O. has been good for the bottom line no matter how many passes he catches or games he wins.
We tell one another we've had enough of T.O., but we can never really get enough. We read. We watch. We wait for the next explosion. That next explosion occurred Wednesday afternoon when Owens held a 45-minute news conference to talk about topics ranging from loneliness to, well, his need to catch more passes.
He didn't say as much about winning more games, but presumably that topic was on his mind as well. Jones must have been proud. At a time when the Colts and Bears are undefeated, when 15 teams have won more games, it's the Cowboys you want to watch and read about.
I'll take the Broncos this week.

What the heck is wrong with the Bengals offense?? Holding TB to 14 points = good -- scoring 13 on the 20th ranked D = bad

Two letters: OL. They can't run effectively, and they can't pass protect worth a crap. :saywhat: Apparently the loss of Braham was bigger than I initially surmised, plus Levi Jones has been hampered by an ankle injury and now a knee. :(
Oh, and that roughing the passer penalty against Justin Smith on the winning drive was so bogus...the result was a 25 yard swing in field position. :irked:

The main problem has been injuries. Center Rich Braham is out and the tackles have been dinged quite a bit. That's made them less effective both rushing and passing and also added more pre-snap and holding penalties. Palmer is less comfortable in the pocket and Rudy has nowhere to run. The shuffled the line a bit during the bye and it seemed to help but then tackle Levi Jones went down and they were back with a rookie at center.
Add to the line problems the fact that they're without third down receiving threats Chris Henry, Tab Perry, and Chris Perry and that leaves Palmer getting sacked a lot more than last year. Chris Henry is on a well-deserved suspension for being a punk, so no tears there. Chris Perry doesn't seem to be able to stay healthy.
VY, holla!! :tony:
lol. 13 completions? 6 rushes for 10 yards? yea, he was a big factor ;)

It's not why they lost, but I love Marvin's comment on it...
On what DE Justin Smith could’ve done differently on the play:
“I don’t know, I guess you have to cuddle him to the ground.”

I agree. My initial reaction was otherwise, but the fact is they did not play well enough to win. :(

I don't mind seeing you guys get knocked out of my way here, but as a Chicagoan and riding on this whole 5-0 trip so far, this one is becoming quite painful to watch...
Since when does John L. Smith coach the Az. Cards? :shakehead :saywhat:

Unreal... That was the most craziest un-freaking believable football game I've ever seen.
Did I say unreal? Wow...
Three TD's, none by offense, dominated all game, six turnovers...
I said unreal, right?

Teh Denny Green press conference was classic.
THE BEARS ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE.
THAT'S WHY WE TOOK THE FIELD.
IF YOU WANNA CROWN THEIR ASS THEN DO IT.
BUT THEY'RE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE.
AND WE LET THEM OFF THE HOOK.
quote from another board
First off anyone who thinks Leinart gave it to Paris harder than Brian Urlacher is ****ing off their rocker. You think she walked the next day after Urlacher finished?

Quite the collapse for Arizona. Hey Edge, that's why they don't have you run out the clock. I had a feeling they'd blow it when Denny went into conservative mode in the first half when they were up 14-0. He didn't put the game away and let Edge get 1 yd runs and then let Leinhart pass on 3rd and long.
Great game! Anybody that thought it was over and went nappy-time ---->>>:gomer:
Leinhart"s a rookie?? He will pwn one day.

He will pwn one day.
That day is likely Sunday, against Oakland. His biggest enemy is the AZ playcalling.

No kidding....it's like they finally said, "well, Matt, we obviously don't know WTF we're doing so why don't you wing it and see how it goes?"....so he drove down the field and ended up with his kicker grabbing defeat from the jaws of victory.

They just fired the OC. Which is funny. His play calling was great to get them to 14-0. Then it went down hill from there. Also, the two remaining undefeated teams don't look so strong now. I don't think either stays that way much longer.
30 minutes from the trade deadline and no trades announced yet. Surprised nothing has happened.

Once they got those scores they played not to lose. The Bears O did not take advantage of that but rather the D. Lienert did pretty well against the best D he will ever face.
