View Full Version : Pizzonia gone?
According to this article on Autosport.com (http://www.autosport.com/newsitem.asp?id=22673&s=5) He is going to have to really pull it together in Spain if he wants to keep his seat.
I don't know what his deal is. He was mega in British F3 and nothing in F3000 and mega as a test driver for Team Willy.

Pizzonia after hearing the news. :D
While Im not a fan of his, He has not had enough seat time to figure out if he is a big enough wanker to qualify for CART duty.....
Wurtz? yeah, that will fix it

I don't agree with this decision. Pizzonia hasn't been outstandingly quick, but he's been sensible in his approach and has kept the car on the track more often than not. The only blemish I can think of was at the beginning of the Malaysian GP.
I don't agree with teams cutting drivers before they've really had a chance.
But I guess that's business.

Well at least there is that famous painting by Edvard Munch to remember Pizzonia by.

From Pissonya to Wurst. Must be some nancyboyF1pointycar thing...
I definitely pegged Pizzonia wrong. Two years ago he looked good, had a crap year in F3K last year and now he can't even keep teh car on the track.
The Wurz hatred surprises me though. I may remember him giving Schumacher a lot of trouble at Monaco 1998. Granted he's not as good as Fisichella (not many are) but you don't get to be the lead tester at McLaren if you're complete crap.
Still a Wurz fan (and probably about to be catching hell for it. :p )

I don't...seems to me that he's wrecked several cars so far this year...like almost every weekend, plus one or two pre-season.

This is not going to help Pizzonia.

Plus Ron Dennis confirmed that there is a potential deal in the works.
