With a CC race now there, I suspect BE would find it less attractive.

OTOH, if CC shows the City the viability of doing a downtown race, I could see BE convincing the city to push CC aside for the "F1 Circus".

But no, I haven't heard anything in quite a while.

I imagine CC has a multi-year deal, so it would be hard to push CC out. Plus, BE wanted it on the strip.
