The correct stars were in alignment all right.
Maybe a hand from Lamar?
I'm a Chiefs fan but can't get stoked about backing in.
Hope them the best, but I'm afraid another Cleveland like let down looms.

Ha. Thank goodness this season is over. It's been like three months of dental work.

The Bengals found every possible way to throw away the playoffs. Everything fell their way today and they simply blew it. It's probably the better off that they didn't make the playoffs this year. They need to learn that it takes more than talent to make a good team. :irked:

Weren't going anywhere in the playoffs this year anyway. Really missed Kubiak. Really miss Alex Gibbs, still. Running game just hasn't been right since he bolted.


At some point, Bowlen's manlove for Shanahan must be questioned.

I don't think they backed in. They had to win yesterday and did. The Titans and Bengals had everything fall into place but couldn't take care of the first job, winning themselves. Now if KC lost, then DEN would've backed in.

LJ vs. the Colts. Might not be pretty. I haven't watched the Chiefs, but I know Ty Law plays for them, and he has shut done Marvin Harrison in the past with the Patriots.

Well the Dolts did get playoff wins against two paper tiger Chef teams, might as well change places for kicks. Yep, that was a bad Lin Elliot joke, he was the Dolts 1995 MVP wasn't he? :tony:

Note #1 Spicoli used the "Dolts" in his response to my post. Since he's in Indy he should know first hand. ;) I agree with him too, Suckage Amplified.

Note #2 Guess you missed the "paper tiger CHEF teams" in my last post. The Chefs were a long term put down in this area and by Chris Berman as well for the Chiefs in their long years in the wilderness and empty Arrowhead roughly 1973 - 1989. As well as in 1995 when Bono couldn't pass and Elliot missed three FGs in the playoff game with the very underdog Colts. They lost 10 to 7.

Both the Chiefs then and the Colts this year have glaring holes in their respective teams. Chiefs no playoff level offense in 1995, Colts no playoff level defense in 2006.

I never take it that seriously personally in the first place. :) Give and get all the same.

Young, who led Texas to the 2005 national championship and was the third overall pick in last April's draft, overwhelmed one of the strongest rookie classes in NFL history. He received 23 votes from a nationwide panel of 50 sports writers and broadcasters who cover the league.
