With that line up, anyone else think this car is going to resemble a bottle rocket without a stick?
Some of the comments (http://www.topix.net/forum/source/indianapolis-star/T8O7Q4QNTDHV561UL)are hilarious :D

I just receieved a PM from a friend who heard from an IRL mechanic who heard it from an DP mechanic who was told by Jan Shaeffer that TG is blaming the accident on defects from a recent wind tunnel test of the DP01.
Say what you want about him, he's consistent in everything he does.

nice work gentlemen!
OMG...I had some funny stuff to say but they were all covered...I liked the one asking if Robin Miller was responsible for setting up the car and the one lamenting the "Glory Days" of the IRL. WHAT!?
When the safety crew got to the scene they radioed back "He's fine. Jus' got his bell rung. Completely nonresponsive as usual."

A bigger bunch of strokes has never before been assembled on a single team. :D
His lap times were in the 2:15 range (slowere then GT), while the quick guys were doing 1:44's and even the amateur-team-owner/drivers of DP (Paterson, Finlay, Alhadeff) managed 1:47 flat! :shakehead No wonder he wasn't injured in the crash, he wasn't going fast enough!

Was he faster than the (maybe) new girl EARL driver, Milka??? :tony:

"It was a series of bad judgments," he said
That says so much on so many levels....

Sure gives new meaning to the term moving chicane, except he was only moving for 1 lap.

To be fair, that was his out lap... But then again he crashed missing a braking point on his out lap.

Sure, make fun. But just remember, our combined appreciation of the sport dosent begin to equal Toeknee's. :tony:

Will there be a drivers' autograph session? Will FTG have his own line like Danica?

Interesting....article mentions that he suffered a couple of bruised ribs....up from the "escaped uninjured" of a few days ago...snowball's rolling! What injuries will surface tomorrow and the next day and the next? Spinal surgery and reconstruction, anyone?
