Well, if you have to open XLS files, you don't want Blackberry or Palm-based Treo.

I think you probably need the Motorola Q.

you want a Samsung Blackjack. but you'll have to pimp some $200 jeans and cut your hair and douse it in product before they'll let you in the store. :gomer:

I dunno, a friend who has a Treo for work seem to love it, runs all the apps he needs effortlessly, he raves about it. Same for a couple other friends who use Blackberry Pearl, although they have bitched about the sound/voice quality.

I have the Treo and really like it.

I don't have any problems opening Excel, Word, or PDF files on it.

Go for the Treo - I just picked up a 700p this month, and it's flippin' awesome. I can waste even *more* time posting on forums now. :p

If your company is kicking down for the plan, get the $40-per-month Phone-as-modem package. Then you can plug your phone into your laptop with a USB cable, or link it with Bluetooth, and have unlimited high-speed wireless Internet access just about anywhere. The speed depends on where you are, but I get 1000kbps down and Sprint has the biggest high-speed coverage area right now.

If phones really looked like this, most people would be happier.

I also have a Treo (650), and I like the features/apps/service (Sprint), but the phone hardware is junk. Screws falling out, buttons popping off, etc. Otherwise I love it.
