I bet it's driving traffic, which is what they want for whatever this is.
It reminds me of this:

The program is this -- You can buy a pixel on the car by making a charitable donation to an environmental organization, and obviously the more you spend the more pixels you get. You then see your pixel either on the website or via a microscope on the car. Gatorade and Universal are the first two major companies to donate and join the team.

It's 1990 all over again. Honda quit then to pursue "energy efficient cars". If they suck again this year, they will bail. They are car builders, not racers.

 :tony:
The F1 eco environmental ideas were vague to begin with, now they are vaguely vaguer. Small wonder.
As for Honda's sponsor problems and buying pixel deal,
Remember to turn off the telly and bolt on some solar panels to the transport.

This is actually a cool and timely idea and from what I can tell there is no minimum pledge so its something even kids could commit some of their allowance to.
And a lot better than the tobacco money they fueled the car on before.
And a bit cooler than when I got my name on the Players Goodbye car

The pledge does not have to be money. It can be things to just help in general like recycling, installing energy efficient light bulbs, etc.
