Only days after being announced at Condor Motorsports Frenchman Franck Perera from GP2 (2nd place at Monaco and looking for more "street" races) broke AJ Almendinger's '03 F-Atlantic lap record at Laguna Seca. First time in the car. First time at the track. Nearly .4 clear of the previous mark. Very impressive. (probably Bourdais' replacement at N/H!) Matos next fast, Giacomo Ricci 3rd for Conquest. Good rivalries shaping up!?

Perera announced today as full season driver for Condor. Sounds like a pretty good move. SPEED says he beat Lewis Hamilton regularly in karts, but only finished 17th last season in GP2. Only 6 TBAs left in Atlantics.

That Lewis Hamilton is a total ***** anyways, doesn't even have the balls to go prove himself in Atlantics.
