View Full Version : Don't get me wrong, I like Tony Stewart
But this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHcKDujTa3U) is wrong on so many levels. I mean, seriously, can you imagine someone using Jim Nabors' "Back Home Again" for a NASCAR video 12 years ago? It would be a sacrilege! Not to beat an old drum; I know the BY400 has been the biggest race in Indy for several years now. But thanks Tony George, you *@$#&$^ dopehead for *$&%^%@ up the greatest race in the world. You said you were trying to preserve the traditions of the Indy 500. How's that working out for ya, &%#^ sucker? :flame: :shakehead

12 years ago Tony Stewart would have been racing on that track in an open wheel car. If Tony George and greed had not got in the way.
I know what you are talking about but sad to say, there is no such thing as traditions at Indy any more. Elmo wanted to drink orange juice instead of milk, so did Montoya.
I really think the person that made the vido used the song because Tony has always lived in Indiana, that's all.
But you know Stewart has probably thought if Tony hadn't been so stupid maybe I would or could win this in open wheel, but it just would'nt be the same dream as it used to be.
