They slowly suck the life out of the place while raising prices. I don't think it was a coincidence this thread went 2.5+ years since the last woot post.

Gone downhill and suck the life out the place doesn't really tell me anything, other than you really hate Amazon. I check Woot every single day, and other than the product descriptions not being as witty as they use to be, I don't see a big difference. i would expect prices to go up over time.

I actually love Amazon, so it didn't tell you anything. I order from them despite having to pay sales tax.

I love Amazon but I agree that they've gilded the lily with Woot. They're missing the point of a "deal a day" site.

I agree, except that I never had a need for Prime.

Since most of my Amazon purchases were Photo or computer related B&H became the alternative, especially since I can call them and actually talk to someone if there's ever a problem.
