Spain is rarely a good race, this has certainly not been an exception... snore.

Great finish for Taku. Honda really have lost the plot.
Lewis is the real deal.

Yep, unless he gets caught torturing kittens in his spare time, I (FINALLY!!!) have another driver to really cheer for... hopefully for the next ten to fifteen years.
Hammie is doing ok.
But how about that other guy that has posted two straight poles, two fastest lap times and two straight outright well earned race wins.
Some driver named Felipe Massa...
 to Sato.

He didn't seem at all impressed with Schuey hanging around...

Schumi picked Massa for his raw speed, intelligence and stability. Kimi is gonna have to put down the bottle and get to work or he's screwed.

Agree with that. That used to be a great series of high-speed corners. Supposedly, the chicane was put there to bunch up the cars a little to allow for some overtaking down the main straight. Guess what - didn't work. So they screwed up a good part of the circuit to get an effect that didn't work.

That's a bad reason for trying to make turn one an overtaking spot. The best way to make a good spot to overtake is to have a series of fast turns leading into a sharp braking area. That way, it's a test of who's got the biggest balls in the fast parts. The guy who holds his foot flat through Eau Rouge is going to gain an advantage into the heavy braking area at Les Combs, because he didn't lift in the fast parts. Think of the Carosel/Kink/Canada corner combo at RA, or Turn6/Rahal Straight/Corkscrew at Laguna. They put that chicane there because the guardrail at the exit of the last corner is too close, and a bad angle for the speeds there.
Guess what - didn't work. So they screwed up a good part of the circuit to get an effect that didn't work.

I cringe at the thought of what has been done to Spa.
