Marco Melandri is top Honda after being nowhere during most of qualifying. He got up to fourth by ignoring the fact that he didn't have any feel and following Valentino for a few laps towards the end of the session. Dani Pedrosa isn't any happier than his teammate, and lost his patience with what he regards as stupid questions from the Spanish press by walking out of his briefing.

Honda's top man, Takeo Fukui, arrives tomorrow and then goes on to the F1 GP at Magny Cours. I don't think he's bringing any bonus checks.
