Is there enough room under those stands for all the tenderloin eatin' fans?
Sure. AJ fits under those stands with only a light lube of "Vavoline" [sic].

I've yet to see the race, but the English love most forms of motorsport, and there is a genuine CART following over there, which is why Pook wanted to race at Brands.
The Superbike crowds are always massive and will be again this year because of Hodgson.
There were about 30,000 on race day, which sounds terrible by North American standards but is the biggest crowd they have had in years for anything on more than two wheels. Weekend total was about 60,000. This track is only allowed to have 80,000 fans at a time, so it isn't fair to compare the crowd with what we got at Mexico (for example).
It was a bit processional and the drivers complained very loudly and often about the pit stop rules which brought back the old "Fuel Economy Run" days. Mario Dominguez ran out of fuel as he crossed the line, and all of them said that on a track as fast as that one there should have been no limits to pit stops at all.
They really need to race on the Grand Prix circuit but it needs extensive modification to make it FIA standard, or so I hear, and CART has to pay for it if they want it done.
