Foyt said the steel cage "probably saved my life, because without it, the dozer would have crushed me." Once in the water, Foyt had to crawl through the front of the cage to swim out.
"It was hard to do under water with all my clothes on and with my bum legs and all," Foyt said. "I'll be honest, I was panicked a little bit."
Foyt said he was out of breath by time he got on top of the bulldozer, which was totally submerged. Foyt didn't go to the hospital after the accident.
A sad history with bulldozers:
The accident came two years after Foyt was attacked by bees and stung nearly 200 times when he was using a bulldozer to clear land on another piece of property in August 2005.
That time, Foyt jumped off the bulldozer and started to run for a nearby stream, but he tripped and the bees swarmed onto him. He was stung dozens of times on the face before finally scrambling into the water. He refused to go the hospital.
Be careful Sammich: maybe one day the bulldozer finally wins. :D
AJ looks to be in very bad health (without the bulldozer thing)

That's what happens when you try to take a man's sammich. ;)
In all seriousness, glad to hear that AJ's alright. He's lucky to walk away after an accident like that.

I think the proper thing for any decent godson to do would be to take over and perform these various Caterpillar duties for his dear old godfather.

I'm not a bulldozer expert, but driving one on the edge of a lake with a 15 foot drop into the water does not seem to be a very good idea.
AJ was the inspiration for the "LEEGUE"....that's gotta tell ya something right there about bulldozing on a cliff.

He must have done something nasty to a Bulldozer in a previous life.

What's with the bulldozing?
George W is always "clearing "brush" and AJ is always bulldozing. Must be a Texas thing because I never have the urge on a hot day to rearrange my property.
Glad he's OK though. Tough dude.

Glad he's OK though. Tough dude. They are both pussies. George Foreman lives in Texas and during his years of hard training, if he needed to move a tree he just wrapped a chain around it and dragged. No dozer needed.

Chuck Norris just beat the living **** out of his tree, and then he kicked it in the face and stuffed its balls down its throat
