Oklahomo should be banned along with McLaren for this year.
Much like the FIA however, the NCAA will never go against a big program they need its fanbase to sell crapola to. :shakehead

Don't worry UCLA will take care of them again this year. I bet the Cal Bears will to. Yes another 2 loss season in the Pac-10 to ESPN's favorite College team.

I'll make my way to CMH for a game, not sure which one yet. Ank just come to UF for the UF/FSU game. You can stay at my hiz-ouse. :gomer:

Bucks should be ~15 in my book. The OSU D will be better than last season, but the O is gonna be an issue. Hopefully Beanie will prove to be the Beast many claim he is. Robo and Hartline will be good replacements for Gonzo & Hall, and we need Small to have a breakout year to replace Ginn. Me thinks they are the #2 team in the Big 10+1, but UM's D got hit hard, so we'll see. Not sure I see da Badgers as #7 either...perhaps that's based on the cuppiecake schedule they usually have. :D
Who Dey! Gotta record the first pre-season game due to travels to India this week. That'll be the first thing I watch once I return next Fri. :)

speaking of jorts, Sportsline has gone on a search for its origins: http://www.sportsline.com/spin/story/10296963/1
Accusing another fan base of wearing jorts is the atomic bomb of SEC insults. As penetrating and debilitating insults go, it makes accusing LSU fans of smelling like corndogs seem like a "Knock, knock" joke.

Expectations are rarified for RU and Schiano. He may be the most influential person in the state. Current an former governors take his calls on the first ring. Today's front page article on him (covered half the front page no less) compared his influence to Paterno, Bear Bryant, Woody Hayes and Coach K at Duke.
Ank, here's a tailgate party for you. When I was a kid I would regularly go to Princeton games because my friend's dad was an alum and worked at the university. He always brought a thermas of chilled martini's and a jar of olives to the games and quietly got blasted by halftime. He was not alone. There were always lots of thermas around.
Of course Princeton has been tailgating since 1869. They invented it and I guess elevated it to an artform. Just not the artform seen outside the stadium in Columbus.;)

Orgy? Did I say orgy? Ohio State’s former president Karen A. Holbrook may have “exaggerated” when she referred to OSU fans’ behavior at games as being like a “drunken orgy.” Holbrook made the remarks during a taped interview, whose really spicy bits are excerpted below:
“When you win a game, you riot. When you lose a game, you riot. When spring comes, you riot. African-American Heritage Festival weekend, you riot,” Holbrook said on the tape.
“They think it’s fun to flip cars, to really have absolute drunken orgies. …

I am so seriously not used to the RU hype. Word in the papers is if Rice doesn't get at least 200+ yards it will badly damage his Heisman credibility. If he doesn't then the wide outs need multiple hundreds of yards between them.
I'm just thinking back to Cinncy last year or Buff in Schiano's first year. This could be a seriously fun year around here until to stink up the joint.

Missed FGs and spotty defense, especially runs up the middle are concerns
Underwood: 10 receptions for 248 yards and 2 TDs
Rice: 184 yards rushing and 3 TDs
Teel: 328 yards passing
Nicest surprise may be that Teel looked very sharp and may be becoming a QB who doesn't lose games to one that wins them
