If you start catering to uptight nutjobs where do you draw the line? Perhaps all women flying on SW should be made to wear a burkha? What the girl was wearing is mild and routine attire for the southwest, which also happens to be the name on the side of the airplane.

If Southwest wants to screen offensive dress they might want to start with the fishbelly white goobers that arrive by the plane load in some of the most laughable clothing ever seen. If there was a $5 bounty on dudes in shorts with skinny white legs, black dress socks and oxfords or women overdressed in heavy dresses and jackets on a 115 degree day I'd have been retired in my 20's... :gomer:

I especially like the part of the original article where a moran spokesperson from Southwest explains their dress code and then says "We don't have a dress code." Clearly you do have a dress code if, according to you, Southwest "doesn't have a problem with it if she's covered up in all the right spots."

I can see why a flight attendant would prefer to tell the girl to cover-up instead of telling the complainer that there is nothing wrong with what she is wearing, but it would be far simpler to move the complainer. Southwest doesn't assign seats and I'm sure there were plenty of people on that plane who wouldn't mind sitting near them.
