So if ZMax takes over title sponsorship, Smith probably would be able to move some of the events to the tracks he owns.

He said that was not part of the negotiations.

"I don't want to get into management of the series," he said. "It would still be up to the present people to decide where they are going to run the races. We are not going to dictate that."

Why, as a writer, would you even mention the possibility if you're just going to shoot it down in your next paragraphs?
