sounds like they had Momon judges.
tried most of the Redrock stuff before we got to "that" point in the night, everyone in the group loved it. Marin Brewing cleaned up w/ 4 golds as well, but don't think I found their station.
Not surprised the Victory Festbier won best Marzen, it was one of the best I had all night. Same goes for St Arnold's Kolsch gold, there were a lot of Kolschs in the Eastern US section, but most were crap.
The dopplebock that won Bock last year and this, Troegenator from Troeg was up there with the Festbier on the night.
I think every brewery up here save Rockies Brewing and Great Divide scored something.
My fav was Brewery Ommegang from Cooperstown, NY. All belgians, the abbey was just as crisp and lightly fruity as a duvel or the like, and the 3 philosophers quad was fan ****ing tastic.
CA cleaned up w/ 40+ medals, my new home with 29 medals, UT and AK had around 10 each, same as WA and OR.
Lots of winners from the midwest WI (non-Miller), MI, IL (non-Pabst)
English-Style India Pale Ale
Gold: Squatters IPA, Utah Brewers Cooperative, Salt Lake City, UT
Bitter or Pale Mild Ale
Silver: Squatters Organic Amber Ale, Utah Brewers Cooperative, Salt Lake City, UT
Have to keep a lookout for these at the beer store.

Keep a look out for Fredericksburg Brewing at Spec's too. Their Pioneer Porter won gold for Porter, and the Enchanted Rock Red Ale bronze for Irish-style Red Ale. There was no shortage of red ales and porters there for them to compete against either.

My fav was Brewery Ommegang from Cooperstown, NY.
They're great. At the festival I went to last month, they had their beers in 12 oz. bottles. All I can find around here are 750 ml. At $5, it's a bargain compared to Chimay at $9.
Warlock!

Unibroue (Quebec) makes a tripel, La Fin du Monde, just as good as the Maredsous 10 & Chimay White, $6 vs. $9 over here, but you probably already know about it.
Ommegang had a few kegs at GABF, but the quad they were pouring from a bomber
