SCOTTISH-born actress Deborah Kerr, best known for acting alongside Burt Lancaster in the 1953 film From Here to Eternity, has died aged 86, her agent said.


Damn, I was just watching one of her old movies last night. :(

I now have "Shall We Dance" from The King and I stuck in my head. That was always one of those movies that I would stop and watch a little bit of when it was on TV.

Aww. Sad. But I'm sorry to read she had Parkinsons.

I think she is best known for The King and I. But maybe it's a generational thing. From Here to Eternity was a bit before my movie watching days.
