Budget cap (http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/64743)
All I can say is good luck with that.

Getting team bosses to agree that they'd like a spending cap is hugely different from getting to agree on what that cap will be.
It's not like Toyota or Ferrari are going to agree to drop their spending to Team India levels

yet another way to ruin f1.....
In a letter sent this week to all 11 team bosses, Mosley outlines that plans for a budget cap are to now be put in motion after the idea received widespread support in a meeting in Paris last week.
Yes, widespread support from those who will promtly ignore it and spend billions to run nowhere.
No work on the new engines will be allowed before that date, and a budget cap for developing it will also be set.
Of course if you are developing a car for another series, say GP2, you have a reason for that F1 car to be trying new engines every other week. ;)

Everything else sucks, might as well ruin that too.

More proof (if any were needed) that Max the Brownshirt, should leave the running of a motor racing body to the professionals and go back to chasing ambulances...
What a ****ing plonker...
Engine testing bans? Salary caps? He is aware that this is FORMULA ONE that he is running right? You know, the creme de la creme of motorsport?
What a tool...

Motorsports has been augering into the toilet for over a decade. Compared to the early/mid 90s, there is not much left. I'm beginning to think real racing had it's century and it's dead.

He put bans/restrictions on the wrong part of the car. Should've done something on the aero end of it. Grenading engines are a good thing. :)
I would've released a new specification that would've required a new design on every aero part and severly reduced (or eliminated) wind tunnel programs and computer simulations. CAD/CAM, a little wind tunnel time and test it on the road!

Max is well beyond his "sell by" date. At his age some level of late onset dementia is a near certainty.

Find it amazing that so many people people are attracted to "design by bureaucrats" :p

Forget who brought us the narrow chassis piece of crap aerodynamic regulations that are now in place which has led to these current trackside beauties?
But hell he banned X-wings for being ugly...
Lately it has been the engines turn.
The only thing he can get right is being so very wrong.
