$40million sanction fee and pay for lighting a night race - non-negotiable - despite losing $130 million since 1996, or F1 walks. :shakehead
Among my most favorite races.
But I'm just dying to see another anticeptic track in a developing nation - not.
I will be there... Bernie sux and I will prolly carry a flag to that effect. Em you with me? Andrew you want to come on down we can put you up...

That little rat is just talking tough to get a better deal from the Australian organisers, including the night-race. He's pulling the same thing on the Malaysian and Japanese organisers.

Outstanding offer! Thanks.
Short of coin at the moment so I'll have to take a raincheck
I was in Melbourne in Oct 96 for work and always wanted to work another Biz trip around Gold Coast or the Grand Prix.
Tony George was, dare I say it, smart to let that rat walk before meeting his demands.
What this sport needs is a promoters union. Perhaps they should call it CARP. :D

Unfortunately he'll always get a better deal from some petroczar with an inferiority complex.
