I don't get it.
His name is actually spelled Busch. Play on words maybe? But I'm a bit dense so I could be wrong.
getting out of the NYC burbs helps:)

It's good to see Busch and Stewart starting the new season where they left off last year.

Unconfirmed rumor that Stewart punched Busch in the NASCAR trailer. Just what you would expect from an a-hole convention like that.
I guess this will be the official thread. I'm not sure what the start time will be, but coverage has begun on Fox.

woo hoo here we go :gomer:
:chickenbucket:
Just don't throw your bucket at the tv if you don't like the results.
Start time is 8:40 ET
Looks like Scott Speed got caught in the big wreck in the ARCA race earlier today. I'm not sure if he was able to finish the race.
Green flag, two minutes early.
Trackpass is free for speedweeks. Check it out. http://www.nascar.com/trackpass/?sc_cid=nscr_tp_upfront_speedwk
Oh, my first race in high def.
Mark Martin really looks old. :gomer:
Drivers will go down pit road.
McMurray brings out the second caution. Spotter must have fallen asleep.
Great job by Kurt Busch! I think this was the third flat tire of the night, which has called most of the cautions. He could have wiped a few cars out but was able to keep it under control.
Five laps to go.
Dale Earnhardt wins the Bud shootout.
Being so damned disgusted, I decided to watch. Though my neurons were excited for a short time by the spectacular HD coverage, I quickly passed out from sheer boredom.
No, NASCAR is not for me.

Mine too. How did I live without it? And when can I see F1 in it? (No Speed HD yet on my carrier)

It was boring.
Too late to watch a 2 hour movie, so I checked it out for the last 30 laps or so. That was awful. If the Daytoner 500 is as boring as that, NASCAB will soon find itself in the same shizzle as Indy (ratings wise). :saywhat:

About the Daytona 500:
Unless someone is fighting, or there's a wreck there's not much to see. I only watch because it's the first race of the year. And it does have an element of spectacle, which is always good.

From what I've heard, SPEED HD is exclusive on Directv through March 1, no word on any other carriers. I can't get satellite from my apartment so I'm crossing my fingers that it gets added to AT&T soon, racing in HD is awesome.

My brother gets SpeedHD on his bootleg Canuckistani satellite dish.
Another channel for me not to watch

I figured there was a deal like that. I guess I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed.

I never thought I'd see the day where I was glad that NASCAR is on SPEED every night. Sure beats the reality show crap.

I watched most of the Bud shootout. I did not think that is was possible to make NASCAR more boring, but the COT has made the improbable possible.
That was as exciting as the IROC races were.
I bet the race radios were real entertaining to listen to . . . . still there . . . still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .yellow . . . . still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .yellow . . . . still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .white flag . . . . still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .still there . . .checker!!!
