Even if it is a bare-bones effort, any ChampCar effort is potentially an obstacle for the .1RL with all of the issues they face with Honda, car count, etc. - assuming most of the current CC teams come along for the ride. Perhaps in time, FTG will realize that a true merger is what is needed - not a buyout.
