And thus we come to the reality that no red blooded crappy wants to face. They are all just rich *******s who care more about their toys and their whims than whether you live or die. Tony George is not a villain compared to the rest. In fact, he fits right in.

It amazes me that people still want to blame Miller or Johnson or Gentilozzi for this mess. Only two guys have enough jack in this deal to make a difference - Forsythe and Kalkhoven. Those two alone could have insisted that this be done right, and instead they are screwing over the fans, the promoters, the teams, the employees, and the vendors. Only two stakeholders matter to these two - themselves.

Wrong. Reality became a biatch to them. KK and GF were NEVER going to win against the deep coffers at 16th and gomertown. They may be rich but when it really starts to hurt their own back pocket that's game.

Farking TG is not using money that comes from his personal back pocket. So it's like monopoly money. The reality is that he has the playground. Unfortunate reality is that he took a huge dump right in the middle of it. That stench is not going away regardless of who comes and plays in his folly right now. Choose to stay away in droves. I'm not sure that's right or wrong. What i do think is that no one took ownership of the series and showed the leadership required to bring the thing back off of life support. GF never led, in fact he did worse. KK may have tried and met opposition, we don;t really know. Poledance P-dummy has sunk everything he's ever been associated with :motorock: so no way he was the asnwer.

What brought CART down is what brought CCWS down: Greedy series owners who never looked beyond their next chess move. Haas with his parts monopoly, chip with a race here and there, GF & KK with Pi and Cosworth, Penske with Ilmore, etc...

We KNOW fTG can't fight his way out of a marketing paper bag, so he won't be the answer. My only hope is that he farms this marketing aspect out to Just Marketing or someone like that, and leaves the OPs to someone like Cotman. It will suck for a year or 2, then who knows.
