Hi Guys,

I want to combine this:
http://www.x10.com/products4/google/wireless_video_sender_v2.html

With This:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-13-LCD-TFT-FLIPDOWN-CAR-TV-MONITOR-DVD-SCREENS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ38650QQihZ007QQ itemZ170199100028QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVWQQtcZphoto #ebayphotohosting

For under the kitchen cabinet..

Think it will work?

I did ask the ebay guy with the monitor if it has rca input? So I guess I will find out eventually.

It's meant for car use, so you'll need to find a way to rig it for AC vs. DC power. Otherwise it should work provided it accepts an auxiliary input. Most of these units promote whether they do, so the fact that this one doesn't makes ya wonder. I used a similar Leapfrog system to pipe DirecTV from our basement box to a TV in our master bedroom years ago when I had DTV. Worked pretty well, but the video qualit was only OK.

Hello again..... (maybe dando)

This monitor may be better...
It specifies audio/video in... and mentions rca..and may have built in speakers (if not ir to external speakers...)

Note taken on the need for a 12v transformer, Ill make sure it is a good one with clean DC (no 60hz harmonic)

One more thought maybe?

Good thought on the built in speaks. I missed that. :\ When I was looking for a car player, I only ran across a $ony unit with speakers. Pretty all car units have IR for headphones. No idea how that sounds through speakers, tho. I do know that built in FM transmitters are the suck. Even in the middle of BFE, there's always interference. :irked:

If you want to spend a tad more, here's a 10" unit through Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00020J02W/ref=pd_cp_e_3?pf_rd_p=250314601&pf_rd_s=center-41&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B000OD05U8&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1KJFN9WRHNKWJ6F9A20C

There are also a couple of units specifically for under cabinet installations on eBay, so you might want to watch a few of those.

That might be a reach since it retails for ~$400 (I found one for $360 through Google Product search).

Yeah, I saw a version of that a few years ago. It ran on Win98 @ the time, and prolly still does...Lufthansa's video/audio entertainment systems in business class still run on WinCE (as of last August). :saywhat: I think there's value in a 'connected' fridge like that for inventory management (aka: shopping lists), I'd have a hard time watching anything on my fridge. :irked:
