I'm 6'3" ...if I had seriously persued "formula car" racing as a career, my height probably would have been a strike against me.

IIRC, Tommy Kendall, when persuing a CART ride in the 90's, was told that he was too tall.

The sport of "formula car" racing definitely penalizes tall drivers

(which is part of the reason I'd love to see Indy go to a modern offset roadster-style car)
