Unfortunately I installed the latest version of FF on both a Mac and PC today, and I have experienced several 3-finger salutes on both machines this afternoon. Beware the FF 'update'! :irked: :saywhat:

It's clean for me. Turn off all of your add-ons and extensions and see what's up.

I'm fine too. Installed it a couple days ago I think.

Using it right now, have been for a few days. Seems fine on both my Win2000 and WinXP machines.

I'm running 4 extensions...Firebug, LiveHTTP, Foxmarks and ABP. Odd that it's happening consistently on both Mac and Windoze machines. I've restarted the machines as well. :irked:

I was having all kinds of problems :flame: with it until I disabled the Woot Watcher add-on. Now it's running fine.

Crap. I forgot about that one. I'll bet the w00t off is causing it to crap out. Bugger. I litterally have to crash it every 5-10 minutes on either machine. Conversely Flock (.12 FF) is running fine on another machine.

According to what I read from the Mac contingent here, that may be mankinds first software crash on a MAC requiring a reboot - they are infallible, you know . . . . .

Place to find and squash the bugs. I haven't had any problems, however.

That settles it. If it runs under WinMe, the software is more than fine!

I have yet to use a version of FF (or find a setting to prevent it) that doesn't use tons and tons of physical and virtual memory.

BTW, I contacted the developer for Woot Watcher, and he is aware of the issues with FF .13 and has a release candidate ready for release, but not yetapproved. PM me if you want the sandbox URL for the new WW version.
