Gen-X were kids in the 80`s. That`s more 70`s stuff.......you know, the generation between the hippies and the Xer`s....the lost ones, Generation Spicoli. :D

Played with these for hours. :D Didn't have Steve Austin, though - Jaime entertained G.I. Joe at the dome house instead.

Oh, man...seeing those Star Wars toys takes me back. I still have all my small action figures and the carrying case, the Princess Leia 12" doll, two vintage puzzles ('Selling of Droids' and 'Victory'), the original board game, and the Chewbacca plush toy. I had the Millennium Falcon playset, but my mom gave it away when I went to university. I would love to get that set back.

Heck, I was only 7!! :D I usually had them plotting strategy to thwart the bad guys.

I owned the red-headed G.I. Joe. I cut the hair even shorter, right against his face/head. He had a camoflauge outfit as well (which we still have); maybe I bought extra army duds for him.

Long before G.I. Joe took on Cobra, he had to deal with freaky sidekicks while battling a colony of people with multiple birth defects. Good thing he had eagle eyes and a kung fu grip.

Avoid Handsome Strangers with Chips:The clothes here aren't all that different to clothes people wear now but the unintentional hilarity of this man being seduced by Oates is over powering. .

Space Hookers: These disco numbers look as if they were props from "Buck Rogers visits a Massage Parlour" and yes, they still have camel toe in the future.

That's funny, because that's what led me to the site in the first place. I remembered them being on the shelves, but couldn't remember what they were called. I just remembered that little dial at the bottom that would make machine gun noises - which was about as high tech as a playing card in your bicycle spokes. It was a series of Yahoo searches for "70's toy rat-a-tatat" that led to all this!

The only good thing about the fall of 7G was the removal of the trail of evidence from that unfortunate evening. Well, and part of the next morning, as well, if memory serves...:gomer:

7G may be gone, but we'll always have the memory of the infamous "Gin Post". ;)

OMG, this thread sent me through the "Wayback Machine". My first job was working in the toy department of Zody's (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zody's), where I sold Star Wars action figures and Charlie's Angels dolls. Should have bought some of the stuff--I'd be making a fortune on eBay now. But of course I wasn't thinking in those terms--I was too busy shepherding the children whose parents thought that dumping them in the toy department was a great way to have free babysitting.

Someone is making replicas of this toy, apparently with the original tooling. Either that, or a shipment was lost in the 70's and recently found.

Anyway, my Dad gave me one for Christmas this year. Seriously. Talk about instant regression. :D
