Will Power became the second rookie to hit the wall during today's practice session when he hit the first-turn wall at about 12:45 p.m.
He was unharmed.
Viso crashes in turn 3 - 12:30 p.m.
Maybe Dan Wheldon has a crystal ball.
Yesterday Wheldon called rookie E.J. Viso “the craziest” newcomer to Indianapolis Motor Speedway and remarked, “You can tell he hasn't hit the wall yet.”
Not anymore.
Viso got loose in the third turn and smashed his right rear into the wall 10 minutes after practice began.
He was unharmed.
