First Webber said "I am free next year but I am massively keen to stay here."

Now Coulthard pipes in with:
"I can only presume it was either to stimulate talks with the team or to stimulate interest in the rest of the paddock, reminding people that he's on the market."

Both are off contract at the end of this year, only Webber has scored any points this year.

I think that next year will finally be the year for DC to win the championship. :gomer:

In the spirit of cost control, I'm available for half of Webber's salary

Yup. Next year is always definitely DC's breakout year.

DC won 13 GP's, which is a very decent record. His win at Monaco in 2002 was awesome. I still remember it vividly. He's not shining at Red Bull, and should actually be driving sportscars, but he was still one of the greats.

If he was one of the greats, Barrichello's a God.

Rubens is ready for sports cars too. Put those two in ALMS LMP2 class Porsches and watch them tear it up.

Rubens won 9 GPs, which is still very, very good, but not as good as David's 13 wins.

He's also great at hitting the pit wall.

"I can only presume it was either to stimulate talks with the team or to stimulate interest in the rest of the paddock, reminding people that he's on the market. Just in case they didn't get the hint, I am reminding people that he's on the market, so that I don't have to compete with him for the last remaining seat at Red Bull. Did I mention that he's on the market? He is, his contract is up. He doesn't have to come back to Red Bull. Really, he's available to other teams. You should call him."
